Who we are
FirstSoft (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a boutique software engineering firm based in Limassol, Cyprus, working with clients worldwide. This policy covers the information we handle through our website and the enquiries you send us.
What we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address, company, an optional budget range, and your message. We use this lead data only to respond to your enquiry and discuss working together.
We also collect limited technical and usage data automatically — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view — via the analytics described below, so we can understand what's useful and improve the site.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure aggregate traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may work less smoothly if you do.
For traffic measurement we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited). It runs under Google Consent Mode with every storage type denied by default, so it sets no analytics cookies until you accept them in our cookie banner. Before you accept, Google receives only cookieless signals it uses for aggregate, modelled reporting. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising: ad storage, ad personalisation, and ad user data stay denied at all times.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookies link in the site footer. We also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure traffic and page performance without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to reply to enquiries, scope and quote work, deliver our services, and keep records of our dealings. We do not sell your personal data, and we don't send marketing you haven't asked for.
Sharing and processors
We rely on trusted third-party services to run our business — for example, hosting, email, and analytics providers. They process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements, and only as needed to provide their service to us.
Retention
We keep enquiry and project information for as long as we need it to work with you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, just email us and we'll help.
